Painting has been a part of my life for as far back as I can remember. As a child, I was always painting or creating, using anything I could find as a canvas.
As I’ve grown, I have discovered that painting has become the way I express myself; the way I can portray my feelings about life and the world around me.
I'm now lucky enough to have a small studio at my home, where I escape and lock myself away to release my emotions onto canvas, inspired too by the stunning surroundings I’m fortunate enough to enjoy in the South of England.
Being creative is part of my personality, it drives me and energises me and I feel passionate about painting beautiful abstract imagery. Art is such a personal thing and not everyone will like my work. I hope when you look at my site you'll agree it’s easy to see the emotion in all of my pieces.
I love to experiment with new techniques and materials and combine ideas to create abstract pieces, putting a little piece of my heart into every painting I create.
Painting has always been private and personal to me although with encouragement and support from my family, I'm taking the brave step of opening it up for all to see.
Love, pain, anger or joy, painting is a deep expression of my mood. It’s more than just a hobby, it’s who I am put out there for all to see in my brushstrokes on a canvas.
Painting is an act of discovery, a constant journey in experimentation and exploration - of artistic techniques and of myself. I don’t set out with a right way or a wrong way in mind and I find it beautiful and exciting to watch my creations unfold in front of my eyes, resulting in pieces I could never have pictured or imagined before I started.
